How to Adopt
We love our adopters!
We are a foster-based rescue, which means all of our cats and kittens are in foster homes. We do not have a physical location (like a shelter) where you can come meet them.
Adoption process
Adoption inquiry
Fill out the inquiry form below or email adopt@fullcirclecats.org and let us know which cat, or what kind of cat, you might like to adopt, and tell us a bit about yourself. We can help suggest cats to you, if you don’t have a specific cat in mind!
We review most inquiries on a first come first served basis. When we have multiple inquiries for a cat, we try to find the home that is the best fit for them based on their specific needs, energy level, and personality. If you are not selected to adopt a specific cat or kitten(s) it could be there is another cat or kitten(s) that may be a better fit!
We require our kittens and cats to be indoor-only, unless they are being adopted as outdoor garden cats, so please understand that before inquiring.
Meet and greet
Once we have your submitted inquiry and have reviewed it, the foster parent will contact you to arrange a meet and greet so you can meet the cat! This visit may be in person or virtual.
Let us know how it goes! If it seems like the cat or kitten is the right fit for you, and you are also interested in moving forward, then we can move to the next step. Again, if you are not selected to adopt a specific cat or kitten(s) it could be there is another cat or kitten(s) that may be a better fit!
Adoption counseling
We will schedule a video call to do our adoption counseling and virtual home visit to help you get your home ready for a cat and to answer any questions. We’ll discuss what room might be a good place to start the cat in, litter boxes and food, how to introduce them to your resident pets, and such. Our volunteers can give advice, answer questions, and give tips on how to make your home cat or kitten ready.
Finalize the adoption and bring them home!
Then we can finalize the adoption! You’ll receive an email with the details, adoption agreement, and a link to pay the adoption fee.
Now you and the foster can plan for you to pick up your cat or kitten and bring them home!

“We donate to Full Circle Cats to help other cats like Buddy and Theo and continue to support TNR and community cat care. I’ve even had the opportunity to feed a colony, trap at a few locations for TNR, and directed my brother and family to adopt two wonderful kittens a few years back from Full Circle Cats!”
